  1. WEEK 1

    Group Coaching Session 1

    3 hrs

    We will discuss the 6 basic concepts of empathy (Not empathizing, empathizing, hyper empathizing, empathy, empathy realizing, and realizing empathy) then reflect on how they are affecting our relationships and interactions.

    We will also discuss how realizing empathy can help us acquire insights and propel innovation then reflect on areas where we wish to acquire insights and give rise to innovation.

    First surprise challenge will be announced.

     
  2. WEEK 2

    Group Coaching Session 2

    3 hrs

    We will discuss the role of feeling safe, secure, and stable when realizing empathy then reflect on how these feelings are affecting our ability to realize empathy in our relationships and interactions.

    We will also discuss the 4 relevant domains of practice (respecting, listening, considering, and acting) when realizing empathy then reflect on how we wish to practice them in our relationships and interactions.

    Everyone will start a draft of their own intention, purpose, and vision.

    3 or more short daily observations & reflections are due on the online forum by Sunday 11:59pm local time.

  3. WEEK 3

    Group Coaching Session 3 + Coaching Session 1

    3 hrs + 1 to 2 hrs

    Group coaching will be carried out to help each other fine-tune our own personal intention, purpose, and vision.

    1-on-1 individual coaching with Slim will be carried out to finalize our own personal intention, purpose, and vision.

    3 or more short daily observations & reflections are due on the online forum by Sunday 11:59pm local time.

    Observation of first surprise challenge results are due on the online forum 24 hours prior to the Group Coaching Session.

  4. WEEK 4

    Game 1

    6 hrs

    Participants will host an experiential game on a topic of their choice.

    Whatever the topic is, it must help all participants learn about the affect of differing power dynamics on systems of relationships and interactions.

    Final draft of the personal intention, purpose, and vision are due on the online forum 24 hours prior to Game 1.

    3 or more short daily observations & reflections are due on the online forum by Sunday 11:59pm local time.

  5. WEEK 5

    Sparring Session 1 + Coaching Session 2

    Week of 5/1

    2 hrs + 1 to 2 hrs

    Mutual sparring will be carried out to help the participants practice and reflect on the lessons they’ve learned thus far.

    An optional individual coaching session with Slim may be scheduled to breakthrough a particular struggle.

    3 or more short daily observations & reflections are due on the online forum by Sunday 11:59pm local time.

    For those who opt to engage in individual coaching, a short paragraph detailing what you wish to get out of the session is due on the online forum 24 hours prior to the coaching session.

  6. WEEK 6

    Reflection 1

    3 hrs

    We will reflect on what we have individually learned thus far and how we plan to apply those lessons in the future.

    Second surprise challenge will be announced.

  7. WEEK 7

    Sparring Session 2 + Coaching Session 3

    2 hrs + 1 to 2 hrs

    Participants will teach each other exercises that can help us realize empathy with ourselves and others.

  9. WEEK 9

    Sparring Session 3 + Coaching Session 4

    2 hrs + 1 to 2 hrs

    Mutual sparring will be carried out to help the participants practice and reflect on the lessons they’ve learned thus far.

    Game 2

  11. WEEK 11

    Sparring Session 4 + Coaching Session 5

    2 hrs + 1 to 2 hrs

    Mutual sparring will be carried out to help the participants practice and reflect on the lessons they’ve learned thus far.

    An optional individual coaching session with Slim may be scheduled to breakthrough a particular struggle.

    Reflection 2

    3 hrs

    We will reflect on what we have individually learned thus far and how we plan to apply those lessons in the future.

  13. 9 hours of Group Coaching.
    12 hours of Game.
    8 hours of Mutual Sparring.

  14. During the Gym, participants will partner up with others to practice new skills and techniques. They may also allow individuals to observe them practice. Such an opportunity to observe can often provide insights difficult to obtain as a participant.

    During the Reflections, participants will go through guided introspections. Participants will help each other gain new view points by sharing their stories and realizations. The individual may also gain such diverse view points when participants provide feedback to the individual’s submitted observation of project results.

    During the Games, individuals or teams will come with a game designed by themselves for themselves and others to learn something that may be difficult to learn outside the program. This is an opportunity to leverage the safety of the program and the availability of each other's support to amplify your learning experience.

    During Mutual Sparring Sessions, two participants will help each other practice their skills of interaction, communication, and conversation in real-time. The session is meant to give the individual a safe and stable space where they can practice and receive feedback before doing so in their own, more risky, context.

    During the Individual Coaching Sessions, Slim will help the individual gain the clarity, focus, and confidence required to breakthrough hurdles and design effective next steps.

    Before coming to the individual coaching session, you are required to bring specific examples of your struggles. (i.e. Transcript of a conversation that didn’t go well, email you’re writing, decision you’re trying to make, etc) This ensures that the sessions are practical not theoretical.
